Most people don’t like the rain,

It’s so dreary,

Sometimes so destructive.

But rain to me brings peace,

And comfort.

Rain at times

Brings happiness.

But to me it brings tears,

Tears from my two angels.

Rain for me is not just water to fill the

thirst of the earth.

Rain for me fills the thirst in my heart to feel

the tears of my children.

God sends the rain to help the earth grow.

He gives me the rain to help my faith grow.

‘Cause you see, I pray for the rain,

And God gives it to me,

Just to comfort me.
